Dra. Rita Guedes

Biographie

Rita Guedes is a Portuguese dermatologist with clinical, surgical and academic experience. She is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Unidade Local de Saúde Gaia-Espinho, where she has worked since 2012. Her clinical activity includes general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and specialized expertise in hair and nail disorders, coordinating the Hair and Nail consultation. She also supervises postgraduate medical training in Dermatology and Venereology. In parallel with her clinical career, Dr. Guedes is actively involved in medical education. Since 2024, she has been an invited lecturer at the University of Aveiro School of Medicine. She holds a postgraduate degree in Health Services and Institutions Management. Throughout her training and career, she has completed multiple national and international fellowships in Portugal, Belgium, and Germany.
