As a Technical Officer, NTDs at World Health Organization, I work with national and regional partners to implement, monitor, and evaluate programs for the prevention, control, and elimination of neglected tropical diseases. I apply my clinical and public health skills to support evidence-based interventions, health system strengthening, and policy development for NTDs. I have a Master's in Public Health from Mahidol University and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Kathmandu University. Before joining WHO, I was a Research Fellow at Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, where I conducted clinical research on child and adolescent health issues. I also have experience as a Lecturer for Community Medicine, a focal person for Covid-19 response, and a NCD and Mental Health Officer at WHO. I am passionate about improving the quality of life through health communication, education, and adapting to newer methods in global health..
