Dr. Molly Hinshaw is Professor of Dermatology, Adjunct Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Section Chief of Dermatopathology, Medical Director of the dermatopathology laboratory, and Director of the Nail Clinic at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, WI. She specializes in dermatopathology as well as the diagnosis, medical and surgical management of nail disorders. She earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison, Wisconsin. She completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics and her dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Colorado Anschutz campus. Currently, Dr. Hinshaw is a Director of the Board for the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP), Council for Nail Disorders (CND) and the University of Wisconsin Medical Foundation (UWMF). She is Chair of the UWMF Finance Committee and Chair of the American Academy of Dermatology Mohs Micrographic Surgery Committee. She has served in various leadership roles within the AAD, ASDP, CND, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Wisconsin Dermatological Society including serving as President of the latter two. She has published over 50 scientific manuscripts and book chapters and given over 100 invited lectures on various aspects of nail disorders and dermatopathology around the world.
