Biographie

Professor Firas Al-Niaimi is a highly respected consultant dermatologist with over 20 years of medical experience. He trained at some of the UK’s top hospitals, including the renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology at St Thomas’ Hospital, where he completed a prestigious laser and Mohs surgical fellowship. He continued as an honorary consultant and pursued further advanced laser training in several U.S. centers. An internationally recognized and multi award-winning expert, Professor Al-Niaimi has authored over 230 scientific publications, contributed 10 book chapters, and published his own book. He has delivered more than 500 scientific lectures across 58 countries and trained over 1,000 doctors worldwide in advanced laser techniques. Alongside his thriving private practice in London’s most exclusive areas, he remains actively involved in academic research, teaching, and international training. His dedication and innovation in dermatology earned him the Global Excellence Award for Consultant Dermatologist of the Year in both 2019 and 2022. In 2021, he was appointed Professor of Dermatology, becoming the UK’s first and only Professor of Laser Dermatology—a testament to his leadership and global impact in the field. Today, he continues to be a leading voice in laser dermatology worldwide.
