Prof. Chander Grover

Biographie

Prof. (Dr.) Chander Grover, Director Professor of Dermatology and STD, at the University College of Medical Sciences. With over 25 years of experience, her expertise lies in nail disorders, dermatoscopy, pediatric dermatology, and medical education. She is an eminent academician, researcher, clinician and teacher, earning recognition through numerous prestigious awards such as the Key Note lecture (World Congress of Dermatology- 2023), PN Behl Oration- 2023, BM Ambady Oration- 2018, VN Sehgal Award for her exceptional work in the field of dermatology and nail disorders- 2021 and ACSI Young Cutaneous Surgeon Award- 2019. She is also the Founder Secretary of the Nail Society of India and its current Vice-President. She actively contributes to various academic and research organizations including IADVL, IADVL-DSB, INS etc. She is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Onychology and Nail Surgery (JONS), the first exclusively nail dedicated journal. She is Deputy Editor with Indian Dermatology Online Journal. Dr. Grover has >190 (pubmed indexed); >60(non-indexed); >70 Book chapters and 10 books to her credit. These include NSI Textbook of Onychology & Nail Therapies: Current Clinical Practice (2nd Edition).
