Prof Daudi Mavura

Biografía

Associate Professor in Dermatovenereology at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College and also the current principal of the Regional Dermatology Training Center (RDTC) at Kilimanjaro Christian Medical Centre (KCMC) in Moshi, a tertiary training institute of both the Tumaini University and Muhimbili University of Health sciences. He is an external advisor to the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS) WHO Committee. He is also one of the special advisors in the International Foundation of Dermatology Committee (IFD). Prof Mavura holds a medical degree from the University of Carlos J. Finlaty in Cuba and a masters of medicine degree in dermatovenereology of the Tumaini University. He has subspecialized in Dermatosurgery from UKT-Germany and the Univesida de Alcala de Henare in Spain. He has published and co-authored several papers mostly in tropical dermatology. Prof Mavura, is also a faculty member of the Dermatologic and Aesthetic Surgery International League (DASIL)
