Dr. Julie Mervak

Biography

Dr. Julie Mervak is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Mervak completed her dermatology residency at the U-M Department of Dermatology, serving as Chief Resident during her senior year. Dr. Mervak was a faculty member with the Department of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill from 2017-2022 and returned to the University of Michigan Department of Dermatology in 2022. Dr. Mervak is a member of the Council for Nail Disorders (CND) and serves as the Council’s Social Media Chair, promoting learning and evidence-based medicine for nail pathology via curation of posts on the Council’s Instagram account.
