Professor Fatimata Ly is a Senegalese dermatologist, Head of Dermatology at the Institute of Social Hygiene in Dakar and Professor (Searcher and Teacher) at the University Cheikh Anta Diop. She specializes in skin conditions affecting black skin and STI, including psoriasis, systemic diseases, infectious diseases, and complications from skin bleaching. She is President of the Senegalese Society of Dermatology-Venereology, Chair of the Senegalese Society of Immunology, and national coordinator for the International Network of Psoriasis. A co-founder of AIIDA and the West African Group of Psoriasis, she has authored or co-authored over 200 scientific publications, 200 scientific communications and is a frequent speaker at international conferences.
