Dr. Chris Adigun

Biography

Chris G. Adigun, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and the President and Medical Director of her private practice, the Dermatology & Laser Center of Chapel Hill. She specializes in medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and nail disorders. Dr. Adigun received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University and was awarded an academic scholarship to attend the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (UNC). There, she earned Graduate of Medicine with Distinction honors and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honors society. After completing her residency at UNC, she joined the faculty at Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Langone Health as a Clinical Assistant Professor as well as the private practice Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York. She returned to North Carolina in 2016 and opened her own practice, the Dermatology & Laser Center of Chapel Hill. Dr. Adigun's professional journey is marked by numerous distinctions and a strong media presence as an expert in her field. She is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Council for Nail Disorders, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology
